07Safety & FAQ
Safe by design. Honest answers.
Worried about GDPR and your data? Good. So am I. Your assistant is set up to be careful from day one.
1It drafts. You send.
Nothing gets sent, paid, deleted or shared without your OK.
2Your accounts, your passwords.
You buy and own every account and type every password. I never hold them.
3Only what it needs.
Your business email, diary and to-do list. Not your personal accounts. We switch off AI training wherever the tools let you.
4Pause in one line.
One copy-and-paste prompt pauses everything. Disconnect any time.
Where your data goes. Grok Bot is run by Cursor (Anysphere Inc.) with xAI's Grok models. Both are US companies. Your data is processed in the US under their terms. We turn on Privacy Mode in Grok Bot. We turn off "Improve the Model" in Grok.
Every setup comes with the Safe by design pack: GDPR in plain English, safety prompts, a settings checklist, a one-page risk check (DPIA), sample privacy-notice wording, and team and leaver checklists.
This is plain-English guidance, not legal, security or IT advice. You're still responsible for your business's data. I'll show you what that means.
Questions
Do I need to be techy?
No. The kit is written for people who'd rather be doing anything else. Stuck? A £195 Fix-It Hour sorts it. If I can't fix it, you don't pay.
Is the Founding 50 real?
Yes. £297 is for the first 50 owners who buy the 1-business DIY Kit, or until 31 Dec 2026 if that comes first. No countdown timer. The number on the page is the real count. Then the price goes to £397.
Will it send emails on its own?
No. It's set up to draft, not send. You read it, you press send.
Is it safe to use an AI assistant with GDPR?
It can be, if it's set up with care. It gets the least access it needs. Sensitive details stay out. You get a plain-English guide to the key rules: your privacy notice, the ICO fee, and telling people before you record a meeting. It's guidance, not legal advice. I'll point you to the official ICO pages.
Will the AI companies train on my emails?
Where a tool has a training switch, we turn it off together: Privacy Mode in Grok Bot (Cursor), "Improve the Model" in Grok, and the model setting in Granola. xAI says it doesn't train on connected Google content. Todoist says it doesn't train general AI models on your data. Policies can change, so we check on the day.
What if it gets something wrong, or something feels off?
It drafts and you send, so you see everything first. It ignores instructions hidden in emails. It flags possible scams and fake invoices. One prompt pauses everything. You can disconnect it in a minute. A weekly safety check shows what it's connected to.
What is Grok Bot, and which plan do I need?
Grok Bot is the AI assistant that does the work. You need a SuperGrok plan that includes it. Gotts Consultancy is independent of the companies behind it.
How long does it take?
DIY: about 2 to 3 hours, over about a week. With me: about 2 hours for 1 business. Your first brief arrives the next morning.
What if it doesn't work?
The Morning Brief Promise: do the steps. If your brief still isn't arriving within 30 days, we fix it on a free call or refund the kit price.
What's in the DIY Kit?
A clickable Start Here page with 7 steps, a Prep Checklist, the Buyer Guide, a Prompt Library of 17 copy-and-paste prompts, the Genius Prompt, the Quote Chaser bonus, the 7-guide Safe-by-Design pack, the Terms and the Privacy Notice. It works on laptop and iPad.
What's the difference between the Care plans?
Care Lite (£19 a month): tips email, prompt updates and email support. Care (£39): adds a monthly 30-minute Teams check-in and small fixes. Care Plus (£59): adds priority same or next working day replies and a new automation each quarter. Book a free 15-min call to start.
Do I get updates when the tools change?
Only with a Care plan: Care Lite (£19 a month), Care (£39) or Care Plus (£59). The DIY Kit is a one-off buy with no free updates.
Is this legal, IT or security advice?
No. I set up your AI assistant. The safety pack is plain-English guidance. I'm not a law firm, a security company or IT support. You stay responsible for your own data, accounts and approvals. See the Terms.
